Awards-An approach
The RI Presidents Citation
and the Governors Award are objective awards for which every club could
qualify. They are the basis of our awards.
Clubs will be encouraged to apply for the Presidents Citation
and the Governors Award. These are objective awards for which it is clear
whether or not the club has achieved the items. In the Fall and in February the
AG will remind the club President to look at the elements of the Presidents
citation and the Governors Award and work on taking the actions required to
earn them. On or about April 1 the AG
and the club President will decide whether the club has achieved the award by
specifically answering the questions. They will provide the information and
result to the Award Committee. The Awards Committee.will check and certify the
result.
