Concert and Cinema Together-They raised $500,000 for Polio in Rome at the Coliseum

Concert and Cinema together is a thing. You choose a great classic film and you have a symphony orchestra and maybe a chorus and do it together.  You may have heard about the movie Gladiator, the Rome Symphony Orchestra staged in the Coliseum, which raised $500,000 to eradicate polio. The company which staged that concert to eradicate polio was co-founded by Brady Beaubien. The name is familiar. His father and mother are the Presidents Representatives at the Mystic District Conference April 24 to 26.

Here is the website for CineConcerts which staged the concert in Rome
Here is the website for their foundation.

And this is from Ron Beaubien's biography.

Brady is the Co-Founder of CineConcerts, which provides a full orchestra musical experience combined with motion pictures. One of the concerts included the movie “Gladiator” with the Rome Symphony Orchestra, staged in the Coliseum, which raised $500,000 for Rotary International’s cause of eradicating polio world-wide. CineConcerts has engaged over two million people in 48 countries in their concert presentations.

CHARITY NIGHT
at the COLISEUM
June 6, 2018
The Italian Cinema Orchestra , CineConcerts have an Parco Archeologico del Colosseo come together to support the eradication of Polio, a cause to benefit all the children of the world, in collaboration with Rotary International, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation,World Health Organization, UNICEF and US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

We can do it right here in Southern Connecticut. Choose a film. Get an orchestra. Maybe we use the Milford Performance Center.(They only had 300 seats in Rome). Make as much as we made from the Arlo Concert.
